Crown Reserve Flaxseed Gel is brewed from real organic flaxseed and organic slippery elm, not thickened water with a fragrance in it. That is why it defines and clumps curls while still staying soft when it dries.

It works for wash and go, twist outs, and braid outs on type 3 and type 4 hair. Add water first, work it in sections, and do not comb after the gel goes in. That last part is what keeps the clumps together.
