Crown Reserve is a Black owned botanical hair care line handmade in Randallstown, Maryland. The herbs are slow infused for four months, and the products are made for type 3 and type 4 natural hair, including low porosity hair that tends to sit wet without absorbing.

Customer video reviews

These were filmed at our booth at the Germantown Flea Market and the Ubiquitous Women's Expo. Nobody was paid and nobody was given a script. I asked people who came back to the table what they thought, and this is what they said.

What the photos show

The results people share with us tend to fall into three groups.

Scalp and density. Close up shots of the crown and part, usually from customers using the Scalp Oil on a bare, clean scalp a few times a week.

Length retention. Stretched or blown out shots. Length retention is about keeping the ends you already grew rather than growing faster, which is why these photos are taken stretched. Here is why that distinction matters.

Curl definition. Wash day shots using the Flaxseed Gel, where the goal is clumped, defined coils that stay soft instead of crunchy. If your gel flakes, this is usually why.

A note on results

Hair grows on its own schedule and everybody's is different. What people show here is what happened for them.
