A Generational Correction

Crown Reserve was born from a deeply personal journey with natural hair.

I'm Alysia Tawanta, a 25-year-old Black woman from Randallstown, Maryland. I grew up spending my childhood in a Dominican salon every two weeks, pressed and keratin-treated, completely disconnected from the hair God gave me. I have 4B curls. I just did not know it.

Three generations of women in my family never knew what their natural hair looked like. Not my grandmother, who lost her hair to chemotherapy before I could ever share what I know now. Not my mother, who at 61 years old saw her natural curl pattern for the very first time. Not me, until I woke up and chose a different path.

"I began studying the world's most powerful hair care traditions, ones that existed long before the modern beauty industry."

From the rosemary and nettle remedies of the Mediterranean. From bhringraj, brahmi, and amla, the sacred Ayurvedic herbs of India. From chebe, the ancient Chadian secret that kept women's hair past their waists for centuries. From moringa and neem, used across West Africa for generations. From ginseng, prized in traditional Chinese medicine for circulation and vitality. From fenugreek and star anise, trusted in Caribbean and Middle Eastern folk healing.

Crown Reserve brings these global traditions together in one bottle, formulated specifically for the hair textures the beauty industry has ignored the longest.

What Changed

My mother met her own curls at 61. That is the one I think about most. She had spent her whole life not knowing what her hair actually did.

Every bottle is handcrafted in small batches using a four month herbal infusion. No sulfates. No silicones. No synthetic fragrance. No mineral oil. Just the herbs, the carrier oils, and the time it takes.

I am not going to tell you this fixes anything. I will tell you what it is: a scalp and hair oil made carefully, by someone who needed one and could not find it.

This is not just a hair care brand.
This is a generational correction.
